StarterBaffle™ is designed for use with both 16” and 24” On Center attic rafters. These stock sizes will fit snuggly in common 14.5″ and 22.5″ attic rafter bays. These insulation baffles are strong, durable, easy to work with and can be used in new construction or retrofit during renovations.
StarterBaffle™ is 4mm (thick) and is constructed of rigid, corrugated plastic with four bending routes each route at 2.25” for easy install to both 16″ and 24″ On Center rafters. StarterBaffles are strong enough to support spray foam expanding insulation creating the required air chute most shingle manufacturers require for shingle warranties.
