    FasciaVent – Attic intake ventilation for any pitch roof

    FasciaVent allows air to enter through air channels in the vent and through the top of the existing fascia board, under the roof decking and traveling out the ridge vent at the top of the roof or other installed exhaust device. It can be retrofitted without removing the shingles if necessary. Your gutter can be installed directly onto the FasciaVent or other options are available such as:
    1. To install an aluminum capping over the FasciaVent ensuring the bottom vents are not covered.
    2. To install a wood or plastic wood fascia board over the FasciaVent and extending it 1/2" below the vent. Ensure the shingles overhang the top.
    3. When installing a gutter over the FasciaVent ensure the bottom of the gutter is even with or lower than the bottom of the vent.

It is very versatile and can be used on wall surfaces between siding and wall sheathing, allowing air to move between those areas. BattenVent is an under-plywood, top-of-rafter vent easily installed during the construction of an addition or a new home. The BattenVent provides adequate ventilation in the spaces to either side of the vent placement. If you are looking for 2-3/8" wide BattenVents click here It is a required vent product when your soffit to ridge air flow is blocked by a skylight or dormer. BattenVent easily allows air movement in those trapped areas.
